A Star is born is produced and directed by Bradley Cooper in his directorial debut. Cooper also stars in the movie alongside singer/actress Lady Gaga.
Cooper plays Jackson Maine, a hard-drinking country musician who discovers and falls in love with Ally, a struggling young singer (Gaga) who is just about to give up on her dream of becoming a big singer until she meets Jackson, who coaxes her into the spotlight.
However, as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of her and Jackson’s relationship breaks down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland), Tom Hardy stars as Journalist Eddie Brock in the new Marvel movie Venom.
Following a scandal, journalist Eddie attempts to revive his career by investigating the Life Foundation but comes into contact with an alien symbiote that bonds with Brock, giving him super-human abilities and a horrific alter-ego (Venom) as long as they share the same body.

First Man follows the years leading up to the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon in 1969.

Johnny English Strikes Again
Johnny English is back for its third instalment in Johnny English Strikes Again, actor Rowan Atkinson returns as the accident-prone Secret Agent. The new adventure begins when a cyber attack reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, leaving Johnny English as the Secret Service’s last hope.
Called out of retirement, English dives head first into action with the mission to find the mastermind hacker. As a man with few skills and analogue methods, Johnny English must overcome the challenges of modern technology to make this mission a success.
So there you have it, it certainly looks like there are a number of great looking films to choose from in October.
