Friday Night Dinner is returning to Channel 4 with its fifth series of the comedy show.
Brothers Adam and Johnny will once again be returning home to Mum Jackie and Dad Martin’s house to wind each other up as they enjoy their weekly Friday night family dinner.
The Channel 4 sitcom created by Robert Popper was renewed for a fifth series in August 2017, so what’s new for the family this time around?
Hot Tubs, Ventriloquists and disasters
Well, Jackie and Martin have gone and got themselves a hot tub and Martin becomes obsessed with his ventriloquist dummy. Expect a disastrous party and lots more funny goings on between the dysfunctional family.
Is Jim returning?
Of course he is!
How can we forget oddball neighbour Jim and his trusty companion Wilson. Jim needs the Goodmans to look after Wilson whilst he goes on a date with his new lady friend Jackie and her annoying laugh.
As the series continues, Auntie Val moves in after another row with her husband and Adam is forced to play the violin to cheer her up. Also returning to the fifth series is Martin’s mother ‘Horrible Grandma’.
